(SIWPL) is one of the oldest and leading manufacturing company for Fans and Blowers in India, providing businesses with timely, reliable, and high quality products since 1981. The Company manufactures a large variety of fans/ blowers, other air handling, and air pollution control equipment under the brand names of SARALA, SITAL, SIWENT, and SIWAX.

SIWPL offers its standard range of products, as well as products based on custom requirements as per the design and standard created by client and/ or the consultants involved in the development of the project. Today the Company’s products are installed in prestigious projects in a variety of sectors like Power, Pharmaceuticals, Cement, Ceramic/Glass, Steel, Textile, Petrochemical, Hotels, Hospitals, Government/Public Sector, Coal Sectors, Railways etc.

SIWPL has its head office, manufacturing unit along with an in-house testing facility located at Kolkata, West Bengal. Being an ISO 9001:2015 certified company strict norms are followed in everyday working and special attention is given to the quality of output. Safety is the prime concern during manufacturing and all laborers are provided safety equipment and trained to follow strict safety practices when dealing with heavy sheet metal.

SIWPL’s facility has the latest critical machinery (like CNC Cutting Machine, Dynamic Balancing, Hydraulic Press Brake, Automatic Flanging Machine, Sheering Machine, Sheet Bending Machine) and highly skilled manpower for fast and precise execution of orders in the smallest possible lead time. Electric Overhead Trolleys (EOTs) are used for handling, shifting and loading of material. Apart from in-house resources, the Company has a strong backup of reputed vendors for supplying raw materials as well as bought out components.

The Company has adopted strict measures to ensure the products and their application meet uniform quality at all times. Right from the input stage, the raw materials are tested by reputed, and government approved test houses before processing of the finished products. All processes, from raw materials to the finishing and packaging of products, are carefully monitored and proper recordkeeping is done in accordance with market standards.

To ensure meeting guaranteed performance of products, we have test beds with various ducts as per fan size available for complete performance testing as per IS: 3588, IS: 4894, BS: 848 & AMCA-210 standards, for air and sound performance at our works. Fire rated products are tested and certified for 300 Degrees for 2 hours of continuous operation by National Test House, Kolkata and as per EN-12101 standards. During manufacture, all products are subject to DP, radiographic, ultrasonic, x-ray tests, as required, and all rotor portions are subject to Dynamic Balancing before assembly. Any further tuning required is carried out by Portable Dynamic Balancing Machine.

Other than set in-house quality standard, the Company has supplied products on Consulting agency’s / client’s specific QAP (quality assurance plans) viz. Tata Consulting Engineers, MECON, DCPIL, TUV, Bureau Veritas, Rites, BHEL, NPCIL, IRS, DGMS, and CMPDIL, who have ensured adherence of QAP right from the planning stage to witnessing of performance test, packing and dispatch of the order, to their satisfaction.
